6. George NEVILLE [ Parents ] . Baptized 18/12/1825 in Addington, George died 11/5/1893 in Swanscombe, age 67. An entry in the National Probate Calendar reads: “NEVILLE George of Rose Cottage Galley-hill Swanscombe Kent died 11 May 1893 Administration (with Will) London 26 July to Harriett Neville widow Effects £164 14s. 1d.” (Worth around £20,000 today.) Occupation: Timber merchant (1851); Labourer (1861-1891). On 30/10/1852, when George was age 27, he married Sarah RIXSON , daughter of Rowland RIXSON , a labourer, in the Parish Church, Swanscombe. Sarah was born about 1831 and died before 1874 (exact date unknown). They had the following children, all born Swanscombe: (1) Emily , born about 1853. (2) Jane , born 1855. (3) William Henry [ 9 ] . (4) George [ 10 ] . (5) Lydia Margaret , born 1865. (6) Charles Ernest [ 11 ] . In 1874, when George was age about 48, he married widow Harriet LEDGER nee BALDOCK in North Aylesford. Harriet was born about 1827 in Otterden, Kent and died in 1894, age about 66. They had no known children. 7. John NEVILLE [ Parents ]. Born 1836 in Addington, John died 1912 in Strood, age about 75. In 1869, when John was age about 32, he married Esther PARRIS , daughter of James PARRIS and Mary Ann HARRIS , in Malling. Although they were both probably unaware of it, before their marriage John and Esther were third cousins once removed. They had the following children, all born in Addington unless stated otherwise: (1) Martha , born about March 1870. (2) Harriet , born 1871. (3) Florence , born 1872. (4) Emma Maria , born 1/1/1875 and died 1974 in Dartford, age 99. In 1899, when Emma was age 24, she married Alfred Smith KESBY (1876-1924) in Maidstone. (5) James Parris , born about 1876 and died 1957 in Maidstone, age about 80. In 1900, when James was age about 24, she married Emily Sarah FLINT (1878-1957) in Strood. (6) William Alfred , born 1878. (7) Percy Frederick [ 12 ] . (8) Beatrice , born 28/6/1884 in Halling and died 1973 in Maidstone, age 89. In 1918, when Beatrice was age 34, she married her 1st cousin (once removed) Frederick Charles Knight PARRIS (1884-1926) son of Richard John PARRIS and Eliza Jane CAPON . (9) Bernard , born 1886 in Halling. 8. Ebenezer NEVILLE [ Parents ]. Born 5/8/1840 in Mereworth, Ebenezer died 5/3/1922 in Horsham Sussex, age 81. Occupation: Draper and Grocer. On 24/9/1868, when Ebenezer was age 28, he married Naomi Miriam INCE , daughter of Samuel INCE , an umberella manufacturer, in St Jude, Whitechapel, London. Naomi was born 11/8/1842 in Whitechapel and died 14/1/1923 in Horsham, age 80. They had the following children: (1) Frank Percy , born 28/9/1872 in Forest Hill, London and died 1943 in Germiston, South Africa, age about 71. (2) Amy Elizabeth , born 27/1/1877 in Forest Hill. (3) Gertrude Miriam , born 11/5/1883 in South Darenth. Gertrude died 3/5/1933 in Birkenhead, age 50.

9. William Henry NEVILLE [ Parents ]. Born 7/7/1860 in Swanscombe, and died 1943 in Winchester, age 83. Occupation: Gunner, later Warrant Officer, Royal Artillery. On 16/6/1883, when William Henry was age 22, he married Elizabeth Emily Jane BURTON in St Mary the Virgin, Prittlewell, Essex. Elizabeth was born 1860 in Canterbury and died 1928 in Eastry, age 67. They had the following children: (1) Charles William George , born about 1885 and baptized 15/11/1885 in Holy Trinity church, Sheerness. He died 9/5/1952 in Folkestone, age 66. (2) Albert Ernest , born 20/1/1888 in Sheerness and died 1967 in Southampton, age 79. 10. George NEVILLE [ Parents ]. Born 1862 in Swanscombe, George died 19/1/1936 in Faversham, age 73. Occupation: Labourer, later Railway Guard and, from 1901, Railway Inspector. In 1887, when George was age 24, he married Emma ALLEN i n Woolwich. Emma was born about 1865 in Woolwich. It is not known when she died. They had the following children: (1) Dorothy May , born 1889 in Charlton. (2) Winifred , born 1891 in Deptford. (3) George Allen , born 29/8/1894 in Deptford and died 7/9/1971 in Folkestone, age 77. An entry in the National Probate Calendar reads: “NEVILLE George Allen of 31 The Durlocks Folkstone died 7 September 1971 Administration Brighton 9 November. £1748”. (Worth around £25,700 today.)
