7. John PARRIS [ Parents ]. Born about 1804 in Snodland, and baptized 20/1/1805 in St Mary the Virgin, Stansted, John died 1877 in Bromley age about 72. Occupation: Agricultural labourer. On 12/10/1834, when John was age about 30, he married Eliza FISHER in St Peter & St Paul, Ash- Next-Ridley. Born about 1816 in Canterbury, Eliza died 1896 in Dartford, age about 79. They had the following children: (1) Phoebe , baptized 9/8/1836 in Borough Green Baptist Church, Wrotham. (2) William [ 10 ] . (3) Katherine , born about 1838 in Stansted. (4) John [ 11 ] . 8. James PARRIS [ Parents ]. Born 1797 in Stansted and baptized 4/6/1797 in St Mary the Virgin, Stansted. James died 1879 in Halling, age 82. Occupation: Agricultural labourer. On 3/11/1823 when James was age about 26, he married Mary Ann HARRIS , daughter of John HARRIS and Hannah CARTER , in St John the Baptist, Halling. Mary Ann was born 4/8/1805 in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire and baptized 22/9/1805 in St Mary, Aylesbury. Mary Ann died 1893 in Malling, age 87. They had the following children: (1) Mary Elizabeth, baptized 15/8/1824 and died about 1825 age 17 months. She was buried 2/1/1826. (2) Mark , baptized 25/12/1825 in Halling and died 1828 in Halling, age 2. He was buried 22/10/1828. (3) Eliza , baptized 26/8/1827 in Halling and died 27/1/1918 in Snodland, age 90. On 22/7/1848 when Eliza was 21, she married Edward Humphry BEADLE , son of Charles BEADLE and Eleanor H umphry , in St John the Baptist Church, Halling. (4) William [ 12 ] . (5) John Alfred [ 13 ] . (6) James [ 14 ] . (7) Harriet , baptized 16/5/1834 in Halling. On 4/6/1853, when Harriet was age 19, she married Charles BEADLE , son of Charles BEADLE and Eleanor H umphry, in St John the Baptist, Halling. (8) Henry , born about 1837 in Halling. (9) Jane , born about 1839. In 1861, when Jane was age about 21, she married Alfred MONK , son of Matthew MONK and Sarah BEARD in St Margaret, Westminster. (10) Hannah , born 1841 and died in 1903, age 62. On 29/6/1861 when Hannah was age 20, she married William ROOTS , son of John ROOTS and Hannah PETT , in Halling. (11) Dorothy , born 1844 in Halling. On 19/11/1864, when Dorothy was age about 20, she married Ambrose HOMEWOOD , son of William and Eleanor HOMEWOOD , in Halling. (12) Amos [ 15 ] . (13) Esther , born 1846 in Halling and died there in 1932, age 86. In 1869, when Esther was age about 23, she married John NEVILLE , son of George NEVILLE and Harriet LONGLEY , in Malling. 9. William Robert PARRIS [ Parents ]. Baptized 17/3/1805 in St John the Baptist, Meopham, William Robert died in 1869, age 64. Occupation: Agricultural labourer. On 11/9/1826 when William was 21, he married Margaret DULLER in All Saints, Frindsbury. Born 1810 in St Margaret’s Hoo, Margaret died 1873, age 63. They had the following children: (1) William [ 16 ] . (2) Matilda , baptized 9/5/1830 in Cooling and died there in 1842, age about 12. (3) Mary , baptized 18/3/1832 in Cooling. (4) Elizabeth , baptized 6/4/1834 in Cooling. (5) Margaret , baptized 6/9/1835 in Cliffe at Hoo. (6) Sarah , born 1839. (7) Rebecca , born 21/11/1841 and died 1912 in Cliffe at Hoo. On 25/2/1860, when Rebecca was age 18, she married Edward PAYNE , son of James PAYNE and Olive RHODES , in Frindsbury. (8) Sophia , born 1849 in Cliffe at Hoo and died 16/3/1917. Sophia was buried in St Helen's Church, Cliffe at Hoo. 10. William PARRIS [ Parents ]. Baptized 24/1/1837 in Borough Green Baptist Church, Wrotham, William died 1914 in Chislehurst, age 77. Occupation: Labourer. In 1861, when William was age 24, he married Sarah MUNN in Dartford. Born about 1833 in Swanscombe, it is not known when Sarah died. They had the following children: (1) Sarah , born 1862 in Swanscombe. (2) William [ 17 ] . (3) Arthur [ 18 ] . (4) Annie , born 1873 in Chislehurst.
