Obituary for George Neville (1862-1936) from the Southern Railway staff magazine
The Passing of Ex Inspector Neville Many railwaymen will learn with regret of the death of the late Travelling Inspector Neville, who passed away at Faversham on January 19th. Mr Neville, who was 73 years of age, joined the railway service at Charlton in 1881 and was transferred to Charing Cross the following year. He was promoted Travelling Inspector in 1901 and retired in 1928. His son, G. A. Neville, is attached to Folkstone Junction. With thanks to Dave Burbridge
