12. Albert Thomas PARRIS [ Parents ]. Born 14/8/1882 in Wrotham and died 1/6/1959 in Belvedere, age 76. Occupation: Driver of brewery van (1901); Drayman (1911); Cement Wharf labourer (1939). An entry in the National Probate Calendar reads “PARRIS Albert Thomas of 10 Edwards Road Belvedere Kent died 1 June 1959 at Boarers Manorway Belvedere Administration London 12 August to Mary May Parris widow. Effects £1287 13s 3d.” (Worth around £28,722 today.) In 1906, when Albert Thomas was age 24, he married Mary May HOLLANDS in Malling. Mary May was born 19/4/1885 in Wrotham and died 18/7/1965 in St Nicholas Hospital, London, age 80. An entry in the National Probate Calendar reads: “PARRIS Mary May of 11 Coleman Road Belvedere Kent died 8 July 1965 at St Nicholas Hospital London S.E.18 Administration London 25 August to Leonard Parris master butcher. Effects £1963.” (Worth around £37,890 today). They had the following children: (1) Leonard Albert George , born 15/9/1907 in Wrotham and died October 2002 in Stroud, Gloucestershire, age 95. On 1/9/1934, when Leonard was age 26, he married Millie Violet MILES (1910-1999) in All Saints' Church, Belvedere. (2) Irene May , born 17/2/1911 in Sevenoaks and died February 1999 in Bexley, age 88. On 27/8/1932, when Irene was age 21, she married William Marshall VINCENT (abt. 1910-?) in All Saints' Church, Belvedere.
