On 30/7/1873, when William was age about 18, he married Emma TAYLOR in St John the Baptist, Sutton at Hone. Emma was born 5/11/1850 in Horley, Surrey and died 24/12/1930 in Dartford, age 80. They had the following children, all born in Ash: (1) Caroline Ellen , born 26/5/1874 in Dartford and baptized 5/7/1874 in Holy Trinity, Dartford. (2) Ethel Adelaide , born 1876. (3) Mabel Emma , born about 1880. (4) Frederick William , born about 1881. (5) Percy Thomas , born 9/1/1884 in Dartford and died 16/2/1976 in Eltham, London, age 92. In 1908, When Percy was age 24, he married Edith Jemima BEVENS (1883-1957) in Dartford. (6) Elsie Fanny , born 1886. (7) William George , born 2/6/1889 and died 19/10/1950 in Luton, age 60. On 24/7/1869, when George was age 30, he married Emily TOMKIN , daughter of William TOMKIN and Ruth LANGLEY , in Malling. Emily was born about 1840 in Ightham.
