5. John CHAPPLE [ Parents ]. Born 1587 and baptized 6/8/1587 in Dalwood, John died around February 1628, age 42, and was buried 7/2/1628 in Colyton. On 3/11/1607, when John was age 20, he married Jane BOLLE in Colyton. Born 1585, Jane died in January 1628, age about 43, and was buried 10/1/1628 in Colyton. They had the following children, all events in Colyton unless stated oherwise: (1) John , baptized 15/7/1609 and died around November 1609, age around 3 months. He was buried 5/11/1609. (2) Jane , baptized 19/8/1610. On 30/9/1635, when Jane was age 25, she married Thomas COX . (3) James , baptized 15/11/1612. James was executed for murder in 1635, age about 23. (4) Margaret , baptized 11/4/1617. On 2/9/1642, Margaret married Henry POLLARD . (5) William , baptized 25/7/1618. (6) Thomasin , baptized 9/8/1622. On 4/7/1657, Thomasin married Philip TICKEN . 6. Philip CHAPPLE [ Parents ]. Born about 1599 in Dalwood. It’s not known when Philip died. On 24/4/1620 when Philip was age about 21, he married Grace HUNT in Offwell, near Honiton. Grace was born 1601. It’s not known when she died. They had the following children: (1) Philip [ 10 ] .  (2)   Zachary [ 11 ] . 7. John CHAPPLE [ Parents ]. Born in 1584, John died in 1670, age 86. On 27/2/1614, when John was age 30, he married Mary WOODLAND , in Seaton and Beer. Mary was born about 1586 and died in 1643, age 57. They had the following children: (1) Nicholas [ 12 ] . (2) Jesebee , born in 1618. (3) Joan , baptized 4/11/1621 in Seaton and Beer. (4) Agnes , baptized 10/7/1625 in Seaton and Beer. On 5/12/1646, when John was age 62, he married Joan EDWARDS in Seaton and Beer. Joan was born about 1610. The entry in Seaton and Beer Parish Register (marriage) reads: “1646: Chappell, John widdowman and Jone Edwards servant unto Mistress Elizabeth Starre, widow 5 Dec”. 8. Robert CHAPPLE [ Parents ]. Born about 1588 in Axminster. Robert’s wife’s identity is unknown. They had the following children: (1) Mary , baptized 21/2/1626 in Axmouth. Mary died 20/8/1626. (2) William , died about 1697. On 16/5/1654 William married Elizabeth FARRANT (who died in 1696). (3) Robert . (4) Sarah . (5) Susana , born about 1635 in Axmouth. On 23/7/1656, Susana married John HAWKER . (6) Judith . On 11/2/1656, Judith married John HORWOODE  in Axmouth. (7) Daniell . 9. Richard CHAPPLE [ Parents ]. Baptized 14/3/1582 in Dalwood. It’s not known when Richard died. His wife’s identity is unknown. They had the following children, all born/baptized in Dalwood: (1) Thomasyn , baptized 4/9/1608. (2) Richard [ 13 ] . (3) John , born about 1615. John married Grace BRIDLE (abt. 1620-?), date unknown.
