1. Robert PARRIS . Born about 1740 in Wrotham and died 7/5/1800 in Ightham. It is possible that Robert was the son of John Parris and Jane Neville. Robert’s birth, circa 1740, fits neatly between two of John and Jane’s children - Ruth (Bp. 1738) and Thomas (Bp. 1743), both of whom were also born in Wrotham. Unfortunately, evidence of Robert’s baptism, which would confirm his father’s name at least, cannot be traced. On 14/10/1766, when Robert was age about 26, he married Mary LARGE in the chapelry of Plaxtol. Mary was born about 1744 and died 6/10/1814 in Ightham, age about 70. They had the following children, all born or baptized in Ightham: (1) George , born 31/8/1767 and baptized 6/9/1767. (2) Mary , born 1768. (3) Olave , born 17/3/1773 and baptized 28/3/1773. (4) Robert [ 2 ] . (5) Susannah , born 8/7/1777 and baptized 13/7/1777. (6) John , born 19/1/1779 and baptized 31/1/1779. (7) William [ 3 ] . (8) Ann , born 24/1/1783 and baptized 27/2/1783.

2. Robert PARRIS [ Parents ]. Born 24/8/1775 in Ightham and baptized there 3/9/1775, Robert died 8/12/1853, age 78. He was buried 9/12/1853 in Plaxtol. On 9/1/1804, when Robert was age 28, he married Rebecca WICKENDEN in Offham. Rebecca was born about 1778 in Wrotham and died 20/5/1866, age about 86. They had the following children, all except Mary baptized in Cuxton: (1) Mary , baptized 12/10/1806 in Plaxtol. (2) George [ 4 ] . (3) Ann , baptized 14/10/1810. (4) Sarah , baptized 3/5/1812. (5) Frances , baptized 13/2/1814. (6) William , baptized 25/12/1815. (7) Elizabeth , baptized 1/3/1818. (8) John Robert , baptized 2/7/1820. 3. William PARRIS [ Parents ]. Born 25/1/1781 in Ightham and baptized there 4/2/1781, William died 21/3/1867, age 86. He was buried 28/3/1867 in Offham. On 12/2/1804, when William was age 23, he married Elizabeth HARMON , daughter of Isaac and Mary HARMON , in Stansted. Elizabeth was baptized 12/6/1785 in Addington and died about 1830. They had the following children, all events in Offham (unless stated otherwise): (1) Mary , baptized 3/10/1805 and died about November 1809, age 4. She was buried 9/11/1809. (2) William , baptized 26/3/1807 and died about November 1809, age  2. He was buried 22/11/1809. (3) Sarah , baptized 28/3/1809. (4) Frances , baptized 3/2/1811. (5) Ann , baptized 29/11/1812. (6) George [ 5 ] . (7) Alice , baptized 16/2/1817 and died about November 1818, age 2. She was buried 9/11/1818. (8) Thomas [ 6 ] . (9) James [ 7 ] . (10) Harriet , baptized 16/10/1823. (11) E l i z a b e t h , baptized 19/3/1826 and died in February 1901, age about 74. Elizabeth had a son, William George Parris, who was born 10/8/1843 in the Union Workhouse, Malling, and died 7/5/1911 in Lynsted, Kent, age 67. On 17/11/1845, when Elizabeth was age 19, she married Thomas NORRIS (1822-?) in West Malling. (12) Clarissa , baptized 4/5/1828.
