56. Bonnie Beryl PARRIS [ Parents ]. Born 4/7/1896 in Aurora, Hamilton County, Nebraska, Bonnie Beryl died 8/2/1972 in Downey, Los Angeles County, California, age 76. Cause of death cardiac arrest. Bonnie Beryl was buried in Inglewood cemetery, Los Angeles County, California. On 17/7/1915 when Bonnie Beryl was 19, she married Roswell Eugene HUDSON , the son of Charles HUDSON and Maria ROACH , in St. Paul, Howard County, Nebraska. Roswell Eugene was born 28/1/1896 in Geneva, York County, Nebraska and died 22/2/1972 in Needles, San Bernadino County, California, age 76. Cause of death kidney failure. He was buried in Needles Public Cemetery, San Bernadino County, California. They had the following child: (1) Rozwelle Ernest , born 15/9/1916 in Geneva, Nebraska and died 12/6/1976 in Fountain Valley, California, age 59. On 11/6/1939 when Rozwelle Ernest was 22, he married Mary Alice HOPE , daughter of Percy HOPE and Lela BROADDUS , in Alhambra Methodist Church, Alhambra, California. Mary Alice was born 13/7/1917 in Long Beach, California and died 17/2/2003 in Garden Grove California. Cause of death heart failure. She was buried 25/2/2003 in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, Riverside County, California.  They had 2 children who are still living. Rozwelle Ernest and Mary Alice were divorced. On 9/11/1956, when Rozwelle Ernest was age 40, he married Joyce McGANN in Santa Barbara, California. 57. Noel Clark PARRIS [ Parents ]. Born 14/9/1899 in Hanover, Illinois, Noel Clark died 24/1/1948 in the Veterans Administration Hospital, Tucson, Pima County, Arizona, age 48. Cause of death certified as Uremia due to chronic nephritis with hypertension; Pulmonary tuberculosis. The date of Noel’s marriage to Esther Elizabeth CASSIN is not known, but in the 1930 Federal census he gave his age at first marriage as 29, so it was around 1928. Esther Elizabeth was born 29/9/1905 in Chicago, Illinois and died 28/7/2002 in Tucson, age 96. Esther’s funeral notice was published in the Tucson Citizen on 31/7/2002 and reads: “PARRIS, Esther Elizabeth Cassin, 96, died July 28, 2002. Survived by grandchildren […]; great grandchildren […]; and daughter-in-law […]. She was a teacher and Dean of Girls at Amphi, member of Delta Kappa Gamma, and graduate of UofA, with her Masters degree. Preceded in death by her husband, Noel; son James; and brothers William, John and Wally …”   They had the following child: (1) James Noel , born 1/11/1934 in St Mary's Hospital, Tucson, and died there 15/8/1990, age 55.

58. William PARRIS [ Parents ]. Born 9/4/1879 in Borstal, Kent and baptized 8/6/1879 in St Margaret’s Church, Rochester, William died 1971 in Chatham, age 92. Occupation: Gardener. On 3/6/1908, when William was age 29, he married Rosa Ellen HOTHER , daughter of James and Sarah HOTHER , in the Parish Church, Borstal. The marriage certificate has her first names as Rose Helen, but Rosa Ellen was recorded at birth (which was registered quarter ending June 1879 in Alton, Hampshire). She appears in the 1881 census as “Rosa E”. Rosa died 1923 in Cliffe at Hoo, age 44. Click/tap image to enlarge. They had the following children: (1) Mildred Rosa , born 27/3/1909 in Borstal and died 17/5/1990 in St Leonards on Sea, age 81. (2) William M , born 1910 in Borstal and died there in 1911, age under 1 year. (3) Norman Edward William , born 18/6/1911 in Borstal and died August 1998 in Surrey, age 87. In 1935, when William was age 56, he married Ethel Annie JENKINS (1892-1985) in Medway, Kent. 59. Edward George PARRIS [ Parents ]. Born 23/11/1881 in Frindsbury and baptized 5/2/1882 in All Saints Church, Frindsbury, Edward George died 1960 in Chatham, age 79. On 30/7/1904, when Edward George was age 22, he married Marion Merrix HINDS , daughter of John HINDS (deceased) in St Helen’s Church, Cliff at Hoo. Born 15/1/1882 in Cliffe at Hoo, Marion died 1950 in Chatham, age about 68. No father is named for Edward on the marriage certificate and he styled himself as “George Edward”. They had the following children, all born Cliffe at Hoo: (1) Gladys Mary , born 31/11/1905 and baptized 18/4/1906 in the Wesleyan-Methodist Chapel, Frindsbury Road, Strood. (2) Ellen , born 1906. (3) William Edward , born 5/6/1909 and died April 1990 in Chatham, age 80. (4) Kathleen , born 1911. (5) Herbert John , born 21/12/1914 and died 1975 in Chatham, age 60. (6) Leonard , born 2/2/1920 and died August 1996 in Southwark, age 76.
